Description
A healthy, high-protein twist on classic apple crumble. Made in the air fryer for a fast, crispy, and guilt-free dessert everyone will love.
Ingredients
2 medium apples, diced (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
1/4 cup almond flour
2 tbsp vanilla protein powder
1 tbsp crushed walnuts or pecans
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp maple syrup or monk fruit sweetener
1/4 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
1 tbsp cottage cheese (blended smooth)
1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)
Nonstick spray or light oil
Instructions
1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F.
2. In a bowl, mix diced apples, cinnamon, and sweetener.
3. In a separate bowl, combine almond flour, protein powder, nuts, and nutmeg.
4. Add blended cottage cheese and Greek yogurt to the topping mix. Stir until crumbly.
5. Lightly grease a ramekin or small baking dish with nonstick spray.
6. Layer apples at the bottom and top with crumble mixture.
7. Air fry for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling.
8. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
9. Optionally top with Greek yogurt or protein ice cream.
Notes
This recipe is great for meal prep—double the batch and refrigerate extras.
For added crunch, toss in sunflower seeds or cacao nibs before baking.
Swap Greek yogurt with dairy-free yogurt if needed.
