Description
A delicious sandwich featuring layers of crispy bacon, sausage, and barbecue sauce, all packed between two slices of bread.
Ingredients
1 lb bacon
2 lbs Italian sausage
1 cup barbecue sauce
1 cup shredded cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
2 slices of bread
Instructions
1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
2. Cook the bacon until crispy and set aside.
3. In a bowl, mix the Italian sausage with salt and pepper.
4. Layer the sausage on a flat surface and place the bacon on top.
5. Drizzle barbecue sauce and sprinkle cheese over the bacon.
6. Roll the sausage tightly around the bacon and secure with toothpicks.
7. Grill the wrapped sausage until cooked through, about 20 minutes.
8. Toast the bread on the grill for a minute.
9. Slice the bacon explosion and serve on the toasted bread.
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding your favorite spices to the sausage mixture.
Serve with extra barbecue sauce on the side.
