Description

This Bacon Ranch Cheeseburger Meatloaf combines the comfort of traditional meatloaf with bold cheeseburger flavors. Featuring crispy bacon, tangy ranch seasoning, and melted cheddar cheese, it’s the perfect family dinner that transforms simple ingredients into an extraordinary meal.

Ingredients

Scale

2 pounds ground beef (80/20 lean-to-fat ratio)

1 packet ranch seasoning mix

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 large eggs

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

68 slices crispy bacon, crumbled

Optional: diced onions, minced garlic, chopped pickles, Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking dish with parchment paper

2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, and ranch seasoning mix

3. Mix ingredients gently with your hands until just combined – don’t overmix

4. Shape the mixture into an even loaf in the prepared baking dish, forming a slight dome

5. Bake for 35-40 minutes until internal temperature reaches 150°F

6. Add crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese on top

7. Continue baking for 10-15 minutes until cheese melts and internal temperature reaches 160°F

8. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving

Notes

For best results, use fresh ground beef with 80/20 fat ratio for optimal moisture

Let the meatloaf rest after baking to help it set for easier slicing

Store leftovers in refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months

Can be prepared 24 hours ahead – just cover and refrigerate before baking
