Description
Crispy bacon-wrapped grilled cheese fingers with gooey cheddar—fast party bites that bake or air fry to a crackly finish.
Ingredients
Thick-cut bread slices
Cheese (sharp cheddar or mozzarella)
Bacon strips (thin-cut for quicker crisping)
Butter or cooking spray
Toothpicks for securing
Instructions
1. Make a grilled cheese sandwich with buttered bread and your cheese of choice.
2. Slice the sandwich into even finger-size sticks.
3. Par-cook bacon until pliable (about 2–3 minutes) and pat dry.
4. Wrap each finger with 1 bacon strip; secure with toothpicks.
5. OVEN: Bake on a wire rack over a lined sheet at 375°F for ~17 minutes, flipping once.
6. AIR FRYER: Cook at 375°F for 5–7 minutes, turning halfway.
7. For extra crisp, broil 1–2 minutes at the end. Remove toothpicks before serving.
Notes
Use a wire rack to keep bacon crisp.
Air fryer method is quicker with less cleanup.
Assemble up to 24 hours ahead; reheat at 350°F for 8–10 minutes before serving.
Serve with marinara, ranch, garlic aioli, or sriracha mayo.
