Description

Bacon-wrapped Jalapeño Popper Bites are a delicious appetizer featuring spicy jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped in crispy bacon.


Ingredients

12 jalapeño peppers

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

12 slices of bacon, cut in half

Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

2. Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.

3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

4. Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.

5. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.

6. Place the bacon-wrapped jalapeños on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until the bacon is crispy.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding some chopped green onions or spices to the cheese mixture.
