Optional: smoked paprika or garlic powder for seasoning
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven or smoker to 400°F (or 250°F if smoking).
2. Pat pickle spears dry using paper towels to remove moisture.
3. (Optional) Spread cream cheese inside each pickle half.
4. Wrap each pickle half with a slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick.
5. Place bites on a wire rack over a baking sheet.
6. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until bacon is golden and crispy.
7. (If smoking) Smoke at 250°F for 60–75 minutes, flipping halfway.
8. Remove and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Use thick-cut bacon for extra chew or thin for crispiness.
Air fryer version: cook at 375°F for 10–12 minutes.
Best served warm with dipping sauces like ranch or chipotle mayo.
