This BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole transforms classic burger flavors into a hearty, family-friendly dinner. Layers of seasoned ground beef, crispy bacon, and melted cheese topped with golden biscuit dough create the ultimate comfort food experience.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 cup diced pickles
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
1 package refrigerated biscuit dough
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F
2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess grease
3. Stir in the BBQ sauce, ketchup, diced onion, and diced pickles. Let simmer for a few minutes
4. In a greased casserole dish, spread out the cooked ground beef mixture
5. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese and half of the crumbled bacon on top
6. Cut the refrigerated biscuit dough into small pieces and place them on top of the cheese and bacon layer
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the biscuit dough is cooked through
8. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted
