Ingredients
1 lb ground beef (80/20)
4 brioche burger buns
8 slices pepper jack cheese
1 cup crushed tortilla chips
3 habanero peppers, minced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp honey
1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
Fresh cilantro
Avocado slices
Sea salt and black pepper
Instructions
1. Prepare habanero sauce by sautéing minced habaneros and garlic in oil for 2 minutes
2. Whisk in mayonnaise, vinegar, and honey. Season and set aside
3. Form ground beef into 4 patties, season generously with salt and pepper
4. Heat grill or cast iron pan to medium-high heat
5. Cook patties 4-5 minutes per side for medium doneness
6. During last 2 minutes, top each patty with 2 slices cheese to melt
7. Toast brioche buns until golden
