Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 23 cloves garlic, finely minced (about 2 teaspoons)
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Open biscuit can and separate dough rounds. Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle.
  • Place 2 tablespoons shredded mozzarella in the center of each flattened biscuit.
  • Brush edges with garlic butter, then fold dough up and around cheese, pinching seams tightly.
  • Roll each bomb gently between palms to create a smooth ball.
  • Place seam-side down on prepared baking sheet. Brush tops with remaining garlic butter.
  • Bake for 12-14 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  • Immediately sprinkle with grated Parmesan and fresh parsley.
  • Cool for 2-3 minutes before serving with marinara or ranch sauce.

Notes

  • For extra cheesy bombs, add an extra tablespoon of mozzarella to each bomb
  • Make sure to seal edges well to prevent cheese leakage
  • Can be assembled ahead and refrigerated for up to 24 hours before baking
  • These freeze well unbaked for up to 3 months – bake from frozen, adding 2-3 minutes to cook time
