Description

Spicy Cajun blackened chicken meets creamy Alfredo sauce in these irresistible pizza rolls. Perfect for game day, parties, or any time you crave bold flavors wrapped in golden pizza dough.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp paprika

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup Alfredo sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 can refrigerated pizza dough

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a small bowl, mix together the Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.

3. Season the chicken breast with the Cajun seasoning mixture, making sure to coat both sides.

4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into thin strips.

5. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and spread the Alfredo sauce evenly over the dough.

6. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the Alfredo sauce, followed by the sliced Cajun blackened chicken.

7. Roll up the pizza dough tightly to form a log and slice it into 1-inch thick rolls.

8. Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top.

9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted.

10. Serve the Cajun blackened chicken Alfredo pizza rolls hot with extra Alfredo sauce for dipping. Enjoy!

Notes

For best results, let chicken rest 5 minutes before slicing to retain juices.

Can be prepared ahead and refrigerated up to 24 hours before baking.

Freeze unbaked rolls for up to 3 months – bake directly from frozen with extra 5-10 minutes.

Adjust cayenne pepper to taste for spice level preference.

Serve with extra Alfredo sauce, ranch, or marinara for dipping.
