Description

Transform humble cottage cheese into crispy, protein-packed chips with this revolutionary healthy snacking recipe. These golden, crunchy cottage cheese chips deliver incredible flavor and satisfying texture while providing substantial nutritional benefits.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cottage cheese (full-fat for that rich flavor)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional, but adds a lil’ kick)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Cooking spray or parchment paper

Instructions

  • Preheat and prep: Fire up that oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray it real good with cooking spray so nothin’ sticks.
  • Blend it smooth: Toss your cottage cheese into a blender or food processor and blend until it’s silky smooth—no chunks left behind. We want it lookin’ like a creamy dream.
  • Season that goodness: Scoop the smooth cottage cheese into a bowl and stir in your garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Give it a lil’ taste and adjust as needed. This is your chip base—we want it punchy!
  • Make the chips: Drop small spoonfuls (about 1½-inch circles) onto your baking sheet. Use the back of your spoon to flatten ’em out nice and even. Think thin like chips, but not so thin they fall apart.
  • Bake ’em up: Pop those beauties in the oven for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and crisp. Keep an eye on ’em near the end—every oven’s got a mind of its own.
  • Cool & crunch: Let the chips cool right on the pan for a few minutes. They’ll crisp up even more as they cool down. Then just peel ’em off and snack away!

Notes

  • Use full-fat cottage cheese for best flavor and texture
  • Ensure cottage cheese is blended completely smooth for even baking
  • Chips will continue crisping as they cool – don’t remove too early
  • Store in airtight container for up to 1 week at room temperature
  • Can be frozen for up to 1 month
