Ingredients
2 lbs beef stew meat
4 medium potatoes, diced
1 cup carrots, sliced
1 cup celery, chopped
1 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
4 cups beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
1. 1. In a large skillet, brown the beef stew meat over medium heat.
2. 2. Transfer the browned beef to the crockpot.
3. 3. Add the diced potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, and garlic to the crockpot.
4. 4. Pour in the beef broth and add Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper.
