Description

The ultimate fusion of jalapeño poppers and smash burgers, featuring two seasoned beef patties stuffed with cream cheese, fresh jalapeños, and cheddar cheese, topped with a creamy ranch drizzle for the perfect spicy-cool flavor combination.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 2 jalapeños, sliced
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Divide the beef mixture into 8 equal-sized balls and flatten them into thin patties.
  • Spread a thin layer of cream cheese on 4 of the patties, then top with jalapeño slices and a slice of cheddar cheese.
  • Place the remaining patties on top of the cheese-covered patties to form double-decker burgers.
  • Cook the burgers on the grill or skillet for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  • Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for a minute or two until lightly browned.
  • Assemble the burgers by placing each double-decker patty on a bun.
  • Drizzle ranch dressing over the burgers and serve hot.

Notes

  • Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for easy spreading
  • Seal patty edges well to prevent filling from leaking during cooking
  • Use an instant-read thermometer to check internal temperature reaches 160°F
  • Adjust jalapeño quantity based on desired heat level
