Description

This Fall Festival Cheddar Apple Chicken Burger combines juicy chicken with sharp cheddar, crisp apples, and a hint of cinnamon, all nestled in a toasted bun for a seasonal delight.


Ingredients

– 1 lb ground chicken

– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 1 medium apple, finely diced

– 1/4 cup breadcrumbs

– 1 egg, beaten

– 1 tsp cinnamon

– Salt and pepper to taste

– 4 burger buns

– Butter for toasting

– Lettuce and sliced tomato for topping


Instructions

2. 1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, shredded cheddar, diced apple, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.

3. 2. Mix until well combined and form into 4 patties.

4. 3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

5. 4. During the last minute of cooking, place the burger buns on the grill to toast.

6. 5. Assemble the burgers by placing the chicken patty on the bottom bun, adding lettuce and tomato, and topping with the other half of the bun.

Notes

 

– For an extra kick, add a slice of crispy bacon on top.
