Description

This Fire-Kissed Apple Bourbon Pork Roast with Brown Sugar Crust is a refined comfort dish that combines the sweetness of apples and brown sugar with the rich flavor of bourbon, creating an elegant indulgence for your dinner table.

Ingredients

Scale

4 pounds pork roast

2 cups apple cider

1 cup bourbon

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

2 apples, sliced

Fresh rosemary for garnish

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).

2. 2. In a large bowl, mix apple cider, bourbon, brown sugar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.

3. 3. Place the pork roast in a roasting pan and pour the marinade over it. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

4. 4. Roast the pork in the preheated oven for about 3 hours, basting occasionally with the marinade.

5. 5. In the last 30 minutes, add sliced apples around the roast.

6. 6. Once the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C), remove from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.

7. 7. Garnish with fresh rosemary before serving.

Notes

This dish pairs beautifully with roasted vegetables or a simple green salad. The bourbon adds depth to the flavor, while the brown sugar creates a delightful crust.
