Ingredients
– 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
– 4 slices bacon, chopped
– 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 4 tablespoons butter
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. 1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. 2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pan.
3. 3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
4. 4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
5. 5. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add Parmesan and stir until melted and smooth.
6. 6. Add cooked fettuccine, shrimp, and bacon to the sauce. Toss to coat evenly.
7. 7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
– For extra flavor, add crushed red pepper flakes to the sauce.
– You can substitute the shrimp with chicken if desired.
