Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon instant yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup warm water
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
2. Gradually add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms.
3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
5. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
6. Once risen, divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and flatten each piece.
7. Place mozzarella and parmesan cheese in the center, fold the dough over, and seal.
8. Brush the tops with melted butter mixed with garlic, parsley, and Italian seasoning.
9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
These dough bombs can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
Just bake them straight from the freezer, adding a few extra minutes to the cooking time.
