2 cups warm water (110°F)
1 packet active dry yeast
1 tablespoon sugar
4 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup baking soda
1 large egg, beaten
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup pepperoni slices
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt for sprinkling
Instructions
1. 1. In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
2. 2. Add flour and salt, mixing until a dough forms. Knead for 5 minutes.
