Description
A deliciously spicy and sweet grilled cheese sandwich filled with habanero pineapple pulled pork and gooey cheese. Perfect for a hearty meal!
Ingredients
– 2 cups pulled pork
– 1 cup pineapple chunks
– 2 habanero peppers, finely chopped
– 4 slices of sourdough bread
– 4 slices of cheddar cheese
– 2 tablespoons butter
– Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

2. 1. In a skillet over medium heat, combine pulled pork, pineapple chunks, and chopped habanero peppers. Heat until warmed through.
3. 2. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
4. 3. Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
5. 4. Place two slices of bread butter-side down in a skillet over medium heat.
6. 5. Layer half of the cheddar cheese on top of the bread slices.
7. 6. Add the pulled pork and pineapple mixture on top of the cheese.
8. 7. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and the other slices of bread, butter-side up.
9. 8. Cook until golden brown on one side, then carefully flip and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
10. 9. Remove from skillet, slice, and serve hot.
Notes
This recipe can be adjusted by adding more or less habanero peppers depending on your spice tolerance. Serve with a side of chips or a salad for a complete meal.
