Description

This innovative Halloween Candy Corn Crunch Burger combines savory beef with sweet candy corn surprise for the ultimate Halloween party food. Crafted for discerning home chefs seeking creative holiday recipes that deliver restaurant-quality results with family-friendly fun.

Ingredients

Scale

1.5 pounds lean ground beef

1/4 cup chopped candy corn

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1 egg

Salt and pepper to taste

Hamburger buns

Cheddar cheese slices

Mayonnaise

Ketchup

Mustard

Lettuce leaves

Tomato slices

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, chopped candy corn, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper until just combined. Avoid overmixing.

2. Form the mixture into 4-6 patties of equal size, creating an indentation in the center of each patty to prevent bulging during cooking.

3. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat (about 375°F-400°F).

4. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side for medium doneness, or adjust time based on desired level: 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare (130°F-135°F internal temp), 5-6 minutes per side for well-done.

5. During the last minute of cooking, add cheddar cheese slices on top of each patty and allow to melt.

6. While burgers cook, toast hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden.

7. Assemble burgers: spread mayonnaise on bottom bun, add lettuce and tomato, place cooked patty with melted cheese, add ketchup and mustard to taste, top with bun.

8. Serve immediately while hot and enjoy your Halloween creation!

Notes

For best results, use lean ground beef (80/20 or 85/15) to maintain moisture without excess grease.

The candy corn adds a subtle sweetness and unexpected crunch – don’t skip this unique ingredient!

Make sure not to press down on burgers while cooking to retain juices.

For a spookier presentation, serve on black plates with Halloween-themed props.
