Ingredients
6 large eggs
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
3 strips crispy bacon, crumbled
1/4 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
Fresh chives for garnish
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Place eggs in cold water and bring to a rolling boil
2. Cook eggs for exactly 12 minutes
3. Immediately transfer eggs to an ice bath to cool
4. Gently crack and peel eggs under running water
5. Cut eggs in half lengthwise and remove yolks
6. In a mixing bowl, mash egg yolks with mayonnaise, honey, and Dijon mustard until smooth
7. Fold in crumbled bacon and grated sharp cheddar cheese
8. Season with salt and pepper to taste
9. Pipe or spoon filling back into egg white halves
10. Garnish with fresh chives and extra bacon bits
11. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve
