Ingredients
Artisan sourdough or brioche bread
Pepper Jack cheese
Crispy bacon strips
Hot honey
Butter
Fresh jalapeño slices (optional)
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Garlic powder (optional)
Fresh cracked black pepper
Instructions
1. Cook bacon in skillet until very crispy.
2. Select sturdy artisan bread and butter each slice.
3. Layer pepper jack cheese generously on bread.
4. Add crispy bacon strips on top of cheese.
5. Heat cast-iron skillet to medium-low, grill sandwich 3-4 min per side until golden and cheese melts.
6. Drizzle or serve hot honey as a side dipping sauce.
Notes
Adjust spice by adding jalapeños or red pepper flakes.
Try other cheeses like cheddar, gouda, or monterey jack.
