Description

These Hot Honey Bacon Pepper Jack Stuffed Onion Bombs are a deliciously spicy and savory appetizer that will impress your guests.


Ingredients

4 large onions

1 pound bacon, chopped

1 cup pepper jack cheese, shredded

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup hot honey

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Slice the tops off the onions and carefully scoop out the insides.

3. In a skillet, cook the chopped bacon until crispy, then drain and let cool.

4. In a bowl, mix the cooked bacon, pepper jack cheese, cream cheese, hot honey, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

5. Stuff the onion shells with the bacon and cheese mixture.

6. Place the stuffed onions on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until the onions are tender and the cheese is bubbly.

7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra heat, add diced jalapeños to the stuffing mixture.
