Ingredients

Scale

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each), skin-on or skinless

1/3 cup pure honey

2 tablespoons hot sauce (sriracha or your favorite)

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line baking sheet with parchment paper

2. Pat salmon fillets dry and season with salt and pepper

3. In small bowl, whisk together honey, hot sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, and soy sauce until smooth

4. Place salmon on prepared baking sheet and brush with half of the hot honey glaze

5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until salmon flakes easily with fork

6. Remove from oven and immediately brush with remaining glaze

7. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes and fresh herbs before serving

Notes

For milder heat, reduce hot sauce to 1 tablespoon

Salmon is done when internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C)

Glaze can be made up to 3 days in advance and stored in refrigerator

For extra caramelization, broil for 1-2 minutes after baking

Pairs perfectly with rice, quinoa, or roasted vegetables
