A revolutionary breakfast burger that combines fluffy pancakes as buns with a juicy beef patty, crispy maple bacon, and melted cheese for the ultimate sweet and savory morning experience.


Ingredients

Scale

1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)

2 cups pancake mix

8 slices thick-cut bacon

1/4 cup pure maple syrup

4 large eggs

4 slices cheddar cheese

2 cups fresh lettuce

2 large tomatoes, sliced

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tbsp butter for cooking


Instructions

1. Prepare pancake batter according to package directions and set aside

2. Cook bacon in a large skillet until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Brush with maple syrup during last minute

3. Mix ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties

4. Grill or pan-fry burger patties for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked through

5. Cook pancakes in buttered pan until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side

6. Fry eggs sunny-side up with runny yolks

7. Keep pancakes warm in 200°F oven while preparing other ingredients

8. Layer burger: bottom pancake, lettuce, tomato, beef patty, cheese, bacon, fried egg, top pancake

9. Drizzle with additional maple syrup and serve immediately

Notes

For sturdier pancakes, use slightly thicker batter and cook longer

Toast pancakes lightly before assembly to prevent sogginess
