Description

The ultimate sweet and savory breakfast experience combining crispy golden waffles with a perfectly seasoned beef patty, crispy turkey bacon, and a drizzle of pure maple syrup. This gourmet burger transforms your morning meal into a culinary adventure.

Ingredients

Scale

1 pound ground beef

4 crispy waffles (homemade or high-quality frozen)

8 slices turkey bacon

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

4 slices cheddar cheese

4 fried eggs (optional)

¼ cup pure maple syrup

Optional: fresh vegetables for garnish

Instructions

1. Preheat your waffle maker and prepare golden, crispy waffles. Set aside to cool slightly.

2. Season ground beef with salt and black pepper, then form into 4 equal patties.

3. Cook turkey bacon in a large skillet until crispy. Remove and set aside on paper towels.

4. Heat cast-iron skillet or grill to medium-high heat. Cook beef patties 3-4 minutes per side for medium doneness.

5. In the last minute of cooking, add maple glaze to patties and top with cheddar cheese.

6. If using eggs, fry them sunny-side up in the same skillet.

7. Toast waffles lightly if needed to ensure crispiness.

8. Assembly: Place bottom waffle, add beef patty with melted cheese, turkey bacon, fried egg (if using), and top waffle.

9. Drizzle with maple syrup and serve immediately while hot.

Notes

For best results, use waffles with deep pockets to hold the maple syrup.

Ground beef with 80/20 fat ratio works best for juicy patties.

Can substitute turkey bacon with regular bacon if preferred.

Serve immediately to maintain waffle crispiness.

Great with hash browns or fresh fruit salad as sides.
