Ingredients

1 lb bratwurst

1 cup beer (lager or ale)

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

12 slider buns

Sliced onions and pickles for serving


Instructions

1. 1. In a large skillet, cook the bratwurst over medium heat until browned on all sides. Remove from skillet and slice into bite-sized pieces.

2. 2. In the same skillet, add the beer and bring to a simmer. Add the cream cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.

3. 3. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.

4. 4. Add the sliced bratwurst back into the skillet, stirring to coat in the cheese sauce. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes until heated through.

5. 5. Meanwhile, toast the slider buns in the oven until golden.

6. 6. Assemble the sliders by placing a generous spoonful of the beer cheese brat mixture on each bun. Top with sliced onions and pickles if desired.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add some jalapeños or hot sauce to the cheese sauce.
