Ingredients
3½ cups bread flour
2 tsp instant yeast
2 tsp kosher salt
1½ cups warm water
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp honey
1 cup pizza sauce
2 cups fresh mozzarella cheese, shredded
4 oz pepperoni slices
6 strips bacon, cooked and chopped
¼ cup parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, and salt
2. Whisk warm water with olive oil and honey in a separate bowl
3. Gradually add liquid mixture to dry ingredients, stirring to combine
4. Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic
5. Place dough in a covered bowl and let rise for 1-2 hours until doubled
6. Preheat oven to 450°F and place pizza stone inside if using
7. Punch down dough and roll out on floured surface to desired thickness
8. Transfer dough to pizza stone or baking sheet
9. Spread pizza sauce evenly, leaving 1-inch border for crust
10. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over sauce
11. Distribute pepperoni slices and cooked bacon pieces on top
12. Finish with grated parmesan cheese
