Description

A vibrant, nutrient-packed power green smoothie that combines fresh spinach, kale, banana, and superfood ingredients for the ultimate healthy breakfast drink that energizes your entire day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ripe banana (the spottier, the sweeter!)
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, packed
  • ½ cup kale, stems removed
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter (or peanut butter if that’s what you got)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (them little fellas are full of power)
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk you fancy)
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt (adds that creamy boost)
  • ½ green apple, chopped
  • Juice of ½ lemon (for that zing!)
  • 45 ice cubes (gotta keep it chill)

Instructions

  • Load it up right: Toss everything into your blender – start with the almond milk so the blades don’t get stuck. Then pile in your greens, fruit, yogurt, and the rest of the gang.
  • Blend it smooth: Hit that high-speed button and let it go until it’s silky smooth. No leafy bits allowed – we want this smoother than a Sunday morning!
  • Taste test: Give it a sip and adjust if needed. Too thick? Add a splash more milk. Not sweet enough? Add a drizzle of honey or a date.
  • Pour & power up: Serve it in your favorite mason jar, tall glass, or whatever you got clean. Sip slow and feel that green goodness work its magic.

Notes

  • For best results, use ripe bananas with brown spots for natural sweetness
  • Remove kale stems completely to avoid bitterness
  • Can substitute any milk of choice for almond milk
  • Add honey or dates for extra sweetness if needed
  • Store leftovers in refrigerator up to 24 hours
