Description

This show-stopping Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Halloween Burger combines sweet and savory in the most unexpected way. A juicy beef patty is stuffed with melted Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, then topped with crispy bacon, crunchy onion strings, and drizzled with peanut butter sauce. Crafted for discerning home chefs seeking a bold Halloween twist on classic burgers.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)

4 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (regular size), chopped

4 slices thick-cut bacon

1 cup crispy fried onion strings

4 hamburger buns, toasted

1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

2 tbsp honey

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Salt and black pepper to taste

4 additional Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups for topping

2 tbsp butter for toasting buns

Instructions

1. Divide ground beef into 8 equal portions (2 oz each). Flatten each portion into thin patties.

2. Place 1 chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup in center of 4 patties. Top with remaining 4 patties and seal edges completely, forming 4 stuffed burgers.

3. Season both sides of patties generously with salt and pepper.

4. Cook bacon in skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Set aside.

5. In same skillet, cook stuffed burgers over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes per side for medium doneness. Do not press down or chocolate will leak out.

6. While burgers cook, mix peanut butter, honey, and Worcestershire sauce in small bowl until smooth. Microwave 20 seconds if needed.

7. Toast hamburger buns with butter until golden.

8. Assemble burgers: Place patty on bottom bun, top with bacon strips, drizzle with peanut butter sauce, add crispy onion strings, place 1 whole Reese’s cup on top, and crown with top bun.

9. Serve immediately while chocolate is melted and enjoy your Halloween creation!

Notes

CHEF’S TIPS: Use cold beef to prevent premature melting of Reese’s cups. Seal patty edges well to keep chocolate inside during cooking.

MAKE AHEAD: Prep stuffed patties up to 4 hours ahead, refrigerate covered until ready to cook.

VARIATIONS: Try dark chocolate Reese’s cups for a richer flavor, or add pepper jack cheese for extra kick.
