This Smoked Bacon Swiss Mushroom Cheeseburger Meatloaf is a delicious twist on a classic dish, combining the flavors of a cheeseburger with the comforting texture of meatloaf.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 lb ground pork
8 slices smoked bacon, chopped
1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
1 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup ketchup
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, chopped bacon, Swiss cheese, mushrooms, breadcrumbs, ketchup, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
3. Mix until well combined and shape into a loaf.
4. Place the meatloaf in a baking dish and bake for 60 minutes or until cooked through.
5. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
6. Serve with additional ketchup if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add diced onions or bell peppers to the meat mixture.
