Description
This Smoky BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger Melt is a delicious combination of juicy beef, crispy bacon, and melted cheese, all topped with smoky BBQ sauce on toasted bread.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
4 slices of bacon
4 slices of cheddar cheese
4 slices of bread
1/2 cup smoky BBQ sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Butter for toasting
Instructions
1. 1. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then remove and set aside.
2. 2. In the same skillet, cook the ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper, until browned.
3. 3. Add the smoky BBQ sauce to the beef and stir to combine.
4. 4. On one slice of bread, layer the beef mixture, bacon, and cheddar cheese.
5. 5. Top with another slice of bread and butter the outside.
6. 6. Grill the sandwich in the skillet until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Notes
For extra flavor, add pickles or onions to the sandwich.
Serve with fries or a side salad for a complete meal.
