Description

This Spicy Honey Butter Turkey and Gouda Melt is a deliciously sweet and savory sandwich packed with flavor. Perfect for a quick lunch or a satisfying dinner!


Ingredients

Scale

2 slices of sourdough bread

2 tablespoons spicy honey butter (softened)

4 ounces sliced turkey breast

2 slices Gouda cheese

1/4 avocado (sliced)

1 handful arugula

Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

1. Spread 1 tablespoon of spicy honey butter on one side of each slice of bread.

3. Layer turkey, Gouda cheese, avocado, and arugula on the non-buttered side of one slice.

5. Season with salt and pepper.

7. Top with the other slice of bread, buttered side up.

9. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich in the skillet.

11. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted.

Notes

For extra heat, add sliced jalapeños inside the sandwich.

 

Feel free to substitute turkey with chicken or ham if desired.
