Description
Grilled Spicy Honey Jalapeño Chicken Skewers made with juicy chicken thighs, sweet honey, and tangy jalapeños for a bold summer BBQ hit.
Ingredients
2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
1/3 cup honey
2 tbsp pickled jalapeño juice
1 tbsp hot sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
Optional: 1 tsp Killer Hogs AP seasoning
Optional: 1 tsp Killer Hogs Hot BBQ Rub
Instructions
1. Trim excess fat from chicken thighs and cut into 1-inch cubes.
2. In a bowl, combine honey, jalapeño juice, hot sauce, Worcestershire, lemon juice, and garlic.
3. Add chicken to marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
4. Thread chicken onto metal or soaked wooden skewers.
5. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
6. Grill skewers 10–12 minutes, turning often.
7. Brush with remaining marinade during last 2 minutes.
8. Serve hot, garnished with lime zest or fresh herbs.
Notes
For extra heat, add fresh minced jalapeños to the marinade.
Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches 165°F.
Serve with cucumber salad or cilantro-lime rice.
