Description

Spooky Black Garlic Bourbon Burger combines rich black garlic puree with smoky bourbon for a gourmet Halloween experience. Crafted for discerning home chefs seeking restaurant-quality results with sophisticated seasonal flair.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb ground beef (20% fat content)

1/4 cup black garlic puree

2 tablespoons bourbon

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon paprika

4 hamburger buns

4 slices cheddar cheese

Mayonnaise

Ketchup

Shredded lettuce

Sliced pickles

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, black garlic puree, bourbon, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix gently until just combined.

2. Divide mixture into 4 equal portions and form into patties, making them slightly larger than your buns as they will shrink during cooking.

3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (around 375-400°F).

4. Grill burger patties for 4-5 minutes on first side without pressing down.

5. Flip burgers and cook for 3-4 minutes more, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F.

6. During last minute of cooking, add cheddar cheese slices to melt.

7. Toast hamburger buns on grill for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.

8. Assemble burgers with mayonnaise and ketchup on bottom bun, add lettuce, burger patty with melted cheese, pickles, and top bun.

9. Serve immediately while hot.

Notes

For best results, let ground beef come to room temperature before forming patties.

Don’t overmix the meat to prevent tough burgers.

Make a small indent in center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.
