Transform your breakfast with this incredible Sticky Bourbon Bacon Monkey Bread that combines sweet bourbon glaze with crispy bacon in a pull-apart pastry perfect for brunch gatherings.
Ingredients
2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons bourbon whiskey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
6–8 slices crispy bacon, chopped
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
1/4 cup dried cranberries (optional)
Instructions
1. Cut each biscuit into quarters and roll in cinnamon sugar mixture
2. Grease bundt pan thoroughly with butter
3. In saucepan, whisk together brown sugar, maple syrup, bourbon, vanilla, and melted butter until smooth
4. Layer half the dough pieces in bundt pan
5. Sprinkle half the chopped bacon over dough
6. Pour half the bourbon glaze over bacon and dough
7. Repeat layers with remaining dough, bacon, and glaze
8. Preheat oven to 350°F and bake for 35 minutes until golden
9. Cool for 10 minutes before inverting onto serving plate
Notes
Let cool slightly before serving to allow glaze to set
Store in airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days
Can be assembled night before and refrigerated
