Description
A delicious grilled cheese sandwich featuring turkey, fresh pear slices, and creamy gouda cheese, perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
2 slices of sourdough bread
4 ounces of sliced turkey
1 medium pear, sliced
2 ounces of gouda cheese, sliced
1 tablespoon of butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
2. Place one slice, butter-side down, in a skillet over medium heat.
3. Layer the turkey, pear slices, and gouda cheese on top.
4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
6. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
7. Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.
Notes
For a sweeter flavor, consider adding a drizzle of honey or a sprinkle of cinnamon on the pear slices.
