Ingredients
2 cups pretzel snaps
1 pound bacon, diced
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup whiskey
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the diced bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
3. In a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup, whiskey, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and salt.
4. On a baking sheet, arrange the pretzel snaps in a single layer. Drizzle the maple whiskey mixture over the pretzels.
5. Top with the crispy bacon bits.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, until bubbly and caramelized.
7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
