Description

Sweet and smoky Whiskey Maple Pulled Pork Sandwiches with bourbon glaze, perfect for BBQs or cozy dinners.


Ingredients

Scale

45 pounds pork shoulder

1/2 cup pure maple syrup

1/4 cup bourbon whiskey

2 tbsp paprika

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp garlic powder

Artisan buns (brioche, pretzel, or potato rolls)


Instructions

1. Prepare dry rub and coat pork shoulder.

2. Mix maple syrup, bourbon, and spices for sauce.

3. Cook pork in slow cooker 6-8 hours OR oven 325°F for 4-6 hours.

4. Shred pork when internal temp reaches 205°F.

5. Toast buns lightly to prevent sogginess.

6. Assemble sandwiches with pulled pork and sauce.

Notes

Best served with coleslaw or pickled onions.

Leftovers can be refrigerated for 3-4 days or frozen up to 3 months.
