Description
This Ultimate Bacon Jam Cheeseburger Melt is a delicious combination of savory bacon jam, juicy beef patty, and melted cheese, all sandwiched between perfectly toasted bread.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 cup bacon, cooked and chopped
1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tsp black pepper
4 slices cheddar cheese
4 slices of bread
Butter for toasting
Instructions
1. In a skillet, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
2. In the same skillet, add onions and cook until translucent.
3. Add brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and black pepper to the skillet, stirring until thickened.
4. Form ground beef into patties and cook in the skillet until desired doneness.
5. Top each patty with bacon jam and cheddar cheese, covering until cheese melts.
6. Butter the bread and toast in a separate skillet until golden brown.
7. Assemble the burger with the patty, bacon jam, and cheese between two slices of toasted bread.
8. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, add your favorite spices to the beef before cooking.
